Panama, March 25, 2025 - Panama had a weekend with activities aimed at promoting cultural rights and inclusion, where families attended and shared three great performing productions at different corners of the country, giving the Panamanian public a weekend filled with emotions, stories and celebration that marked a cultural agenda where art was a vehicle of meeting and memory.

On Saturday, March 22, in the town of David, Chiriquí, more than 5,000 people met at the headquarters of the Federal Mall to witness "Master Life, Reuben Blades's musical," a work that has been passing through the country and with every feature. That performance was even more special thanks to the live accompaniment of Roberto Delgado's orchestra, winner of 10 Grammy awards and an official Reuben Blades interpreter at an international level. His impeccable performance of each of his songs from his iconic album "Master Life" brought his experience to another level of applause and national pride.

That same day, in Panama City, the Anayansi Theater at the Atlapa Convention Center was filled with emotion with the presentation of the work "La Mala Racha," starring women deprived of their liberty from the Women's Rehab Center (CEFere). It was an awesoming night, where the interpreters received an ovation that celebrated his talent and his courage and his transformation capacity as well.

Meanwhile, the work "Piedra City" that turned Panama La Vieja into a living theater for two consecutive nights, on March 21 and 22, was put on stage. That musical and thematic show immersed the public into a travelling stage experience, where history, music and technology merged to tell an ancestral narrative loaded with force and identity. Visitors visited the heritage site with sounds, lights and actions that resignited the past from a contemporary perspective.

That weekend will be marked by the cultural memory of the country as an art celebration in its many forms, territories and voices. It was a sign of commitment, by promoting artistic activities that are accessible, inclusive and deeply connected with the realities and aspirations of the Panamanian people.
