Since its creation in 2017, more than 900 participants have been registered.

At the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), an event was held to give certificates to new literature from the "PROFE" Writer Training Program, in the genres of poetry, theater, essay, novel, creative writing and film script.

"We are proud that every workshop is an experience that has guaranteed the continuity and consolidation of the program throughout time, attracting more students to be taught by great teachers," emphasized the Minister of Culture, María Eugenia Herrera.

He added: "Our graduates have been distinguished with national and international awards and recognition."

The teachers who have been dedicated to preparing these letter professionals include Alondra Badano, Consuelo Tomas, Mónica Miguel, Rodolfo De Gracia, Héctor Collado, Manuel Rodriguez and Edgar Soberón Torchia, who have contributed significantly to strengthening our letters.

"The PROFE" was born as a suggestion by the Jury of the 2017 Ricardo Miró National Literature Competition with the aim of contributing to the excellence of the literary creations of the contest participants.
