On July 18, national and foreign visitors will be able to form part of the opening of the "2 Generations 2 Visions" exhibition by Carolina and Manuel Jaén at the Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery, located at the Bóvedas del Casco Antiguo, from 6: 30 p.m.
The artistic exhibition will be available to the public until August 25, from Monday to Friday from 8: 00 a.m. to 4: 00 p.m. with free entrance to the general public.
It brings together 29 works in total, outstanding by the contemporary and true style that they develop, as well as the stylistic and thematic diversity that characterizes them.
At this point, the artist Carolina Jaén, who develops a contemporary style focused on the young public, will put forward pictures with acrylic techniques. Instead, her father Manuel Jaén, who proposes the sample of works focused on his 30 years of work as a painter, stands out for offering portraits developed in acrylic and oil.
"Mine are all based on the same research I have been doing since I began to study, which are the endactions of light about water. Instead, my father's works, many report something that was happening at that time, as some of his works are more than 30 years old," said Carolina Jaén.
The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) reaffirms its commitment to support art and culture by providing spaces to promote and Visibilize the work of national artists at places such as the Gallery in the City of the Arts and the Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery in the Bóvedas of Casco Antiguo.
