The National Crafts Fair 2024, organized for the second consecutive year by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), gave recognition to a number of cultural managers who have helped preserve the tenth and its components as part of the Spanish inmaterial cultural heritage and are currently regarded as great values of this genus.

The trovators Arnoldo Díaz, Hilaria Murillo, Arcadio Camaño, Mary Morales and Benjamin Acevedo received a scroll that applauds their dedication and contributes to maintaining the legacy of the 10th Panamanian through their verses and performances.

That tribute was also dedicated to highlight the artisan who specializes in the production of an instrument originally from Panama, the mejorana or better as are Edwin pinto, Alexis Huertas, who's also a guitar performer, Orlando Rodriguez and Manuel Córdoba, and who's better.

Similarly, the musicians and poets Gonzalo González, guitarist, Celso Quintero, violinist and guitarist, José de Jesús Crespo, poet, Juvencio Rodriguez, best man, Ornilo Cortez, violinist, Juan Andrés Castillo best man and researcher of the 10th, his torrents and his history of the mejorana, Luis Cholo Bernal, best man, master of youth, cultural manager of the 10th and Qzx14qQ, Efraín Gutirez and best man, and best man.

"June is the month that celebrates the day of the tenth and all the bearers of knowledge, trovators, poets, musicians and artisan of the mejorana, that's why after a visit we have had at our headquarters, we have committed ourselves to make a recognition every year, but above all to strengthening by workshops the creation, to elevate its contents, to work plans to safeguard that knowledge of the traditional music that binds it, to allow its permanence in time," stated the Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué.

"I advance them that this has motivated us to prepare a nomination as a country before UNESCO, but to achieve this we have to update the inventory of bearers to show that there's a child and a youth committed to all their knowledge and some of them are seedling jobs that we have been promoting through the Peasant Heritage project."

That deference that MiCultura does forms part of his research work with the Coordination of Intangible Cultural Heritage, with a number of inventories to document that wealth and its cultural manifestations and to coincide with the celebration of the National Day of the Trolt and the Poet of the Tenth Panama, held in our country every June 16.

During this activity, a surprising recognition was given to Jazmin Muñoz's troviler, who has transcended our boundaries, bringing our music and its trova to Europe and other countries of the region.
