To those interested in participating in national literary competitions such as the literary prize, Pedro Correa, Narrativa prize, Ariel Barria Alvarado, Poesía, Gustavo Batista Cedeño, national literature contest, Ricardo Miró, tale contest, Rosa María Britton and the children's and youth literature contest, Carlos Francisco Changmarín, are told that between June and July the deadline for presenting his proposals will be met depending on the prize they wish to participate in.

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) annually encourages emerging and established writers to participate in these awards, while always complying with the requirements established at the bases for each of these competitions and their (bases) requirements are published on the website. https: / / MiCultura.gob.pa / concurs-and-convocation /

The completion schedule for 2024 to deliver established text is as follows:

The story contest, Rosa María Britton, aimed at public and private schools attending from VII to XII, will be closed June 11 and interested parties have to register a tale with a maximum length of five pages.

The literary prize, Pedro Correa, ends June 14 and applicants have to propose a project of literary critiques or critiques of Panamanian literature with a minimum length of 50 and a maximum of 100 pages.

The National Ricardo Miró literature contest, with Panamanian writers by birth or by naturalization, resident in and outside the country, ends June 28 and can put forward his writings in the genres tale, poetry, essay, novel and theater.

The children's and youth literature contest "Carlos Francisco Changmarín," intended for literates who write child and youth poetry, closed on 4 July.

The poetry contest Gustavo Batista Cedeño for poets that have been less than 35 years old will close on July 10.

The narrative prize, Ariel Barria Alvarado, focused on honoring the memory of this literature closed on July 12 and responded to an initiative by his writer Enrique Jaramillo.
