< strong > The creative and cultural industries of Panama highlighted at Expocomer 2024 < / strong >

The cultural pavilion "We are Creative Economics" dedicated to the promotion of the Creative and Cultural Industries of Panama emphasized at Expocomer 2024 at the Panama Convention Center, during the three-day fair.

The cultural square that for the first time was part of this fair space was visited by local and foreign people and was a great appeal with an agenda with educational, artistic and cultural activities organized by the Creative Economics Section of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura).

Conferences, forums, workshops, dialogues, work tables, artistic presentations, live cuisine, national and international guests were part of this first participation of MiCultura highlighting the creative and cultural industries, in this commercial space, where entrepreneurs presented their products, services, contents and experiences.

Carolina Cordero, General Director of Cultural and Creative Development of the autonomous town of Buenos Aires at a conference, presented his plans, projects, work and cultural development programs about the reality of the creative and cultural industries that are developing in Argentina's capital.

"Panama has gain and passion, has a great team and more after passing the law of creative industries and have a Ministry of Culture, where we talk about a clear policy and a long term proposal to promote culture in this country," Cordero said.

The event concluded with the participation of three high-level international specialists Jordana Guimaraes with the theme Fashion and Technology Industry and Amanda Parker, designer of Biomedical and Fashion and Gina Chang Technology, Leader in Finance University of Michigan.

Designers, fashion students, artists and the public at large have been fed from these three leaders who have shared the latest trends of Fashion and Technology, new ideas with fabrics, sustainable products and the creation of virtual experiences related to fashion.
