IN EXPOCOMER FRAMEWORK, MiCultura DIRECTORIES TO FIRE RECOGNITION OF THE TRANSIST COLONIAL RULE

The importance for Panama, the inclusion of the TransStmal Colonial Roads in the list of World Heritage of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), was the central theme of the event: Historical Heritage, TransStmic Colonial Roads and Cultural Tourism organized by the Ministry of Culture at its stand at the International Feria EXPOCOMER 2024.
María Isabel ArRocha, co-ordinator of the RCT's nomination file, Javier Edwards, a Panamanian counterpart at UNESCO, Julieta de Arango, director of the Old Panama Board of Trustees and Itzela Quiroz, director of museums at MiCultura, participated in the event.
The response to Panama's demand for a declaration from the RCT will be taken at a meeting that will hold[EM1]The UNESCO World Heritage Committee next July in New Delhi, India.
The Transseismic Colonial Route is composed of important historic sites such as fortifications in the Caribbean as Portobello and San Lorenzo and the Way of Cruces and Pacific's final cities as the Casco Antiguo and the archaeological site of Old Panama.
The day at MiCultura's pavilion at Expocomer and with its core as the Creative Economy continued with the participation of the conference "Music Business" dictated by the Panamanian musician Calito De Silas, who spoke about the importance of the Mercadotecnia and the space given to artists at events such as an Expocomer fair.
Also during the second day, at the MiCultura Creative Economics Pavilion was held the "Innovative Solutions for Integration" with Colombian creators Leyda Cuestas and Lina Camargo, who put forward about a project that's giving responses to people with disabilities.
The project includes the design of a Gymmmile to support at-home rehabilitation for children and youth with cerebral palsy or motor disability and as well as to contribute to their health care, they are also part of the creative industries.
The characteristic of this Gymmmile is that it's custom according to the child or youth who uses it and its condition, folding, portable and training and accompaniment are provided. At the event that was moderated by the Director of Communication of MiCultura, Erika Lozo, also participated the Director of the Office of Equiparation, Jorge Morales.
The MiCultura stand was very active with a coffee culture forum where the public was able to taste Geisha coffee prepared by the young lady, Sofia Lutrell, only 16 years old who beat fifteen participants to become an Aeropress 2023 national champion, high quality coffee production competition.
The day also included the work table "Gastronomic Tourism Project" that was a contribution from different voices from the sector as the consultant for the World Intellectual Property Organization, María Gilma ArRocha, who with other members, emphasized the potential of the gastronomic sector and in that sense work with MiCultura to achieve the projection of this item. Also an event and musical presentation with Carlos Méndez and Yigo Sugasti was organized.
