A group of 72 young people and adults have successfully completed the training of the Writer Training Program (PROFE) 2023, in which they have received tools of writing in the genres of poetry, tale, theater, novel, essay, film script, creative writing and with outstanding participation by women.
The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), through the National Directorate of the Arts, performing this initiative, held an event to issue certificates, where the Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué emphasized the continuation of the program, its level of excellence and its continuity since 2017.
"We invite you to be guardians of the permanence of a program, and more and more people have been formed and have been doing their jobs with writers to the country.
The PROFE has been a space for literary growth and creation, opening up the doors to imagination and creative expression in different genres, "stated González Villarrué.
"Keep guarding, protecting but especially feel more outreach multipliers so that more people sign up," she added.
The new writers received their handcertificates from the Minister of Culture, Isabel Burgos, National Director of The Arts and Aleida De Gracia, Programme Coordinator.
It should be noted that the Writer Training Programme has been awarded winners of the Ricardo Miró and other national competitions.
Consuelo Tomas, Alondra Badano, Héctor Collado, Rodolfo De Gracia, Edgar Soberon Torchia, Eratito Espino and Manuel Rodriguez were leading and accompanying the participation groups for 16 Saturdays, while each workshop lasted.
