< strong > Five Panamanian projects are benefiting from Iberesque financial assistance 2023-2024 < / strong >

Five Panamanian projects have been selected by the IBERESCEN Intergovernmental Council (IIC), composed of the 17 countries members of the programme and where Panama is represented by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), for financial assistance offered at the 2023 / 2024 call.

The Creative Space and Gramo Danse Foundation have been benefitted with the line of Help in the co-production of Activities of performing arts.

While Festivals and Scenic Spaces were advanced at the Programming of Festivals and Scenic Spaces: Prisma Dance Foundation, PRO Escenic and Audiovisual Arts (FAE) and Katherine Bucktron Sánchez de Olle.

The 10-year flight projects, Umbral, Prisma Festival, 13th edition, 13th International Festival of Academic and Reunion arts for Children and Youth: Teatral Fantasy will be held throughout next year.

Renan Fernández, Executive Assistant to the National Direction of Las Artes and president of the Iberesco program, commented "it's the only contestable fund of international cooperation for performing arts, enabling our artists and managers to connect with their counterparties and Iberomeric projects by promoting their mobility."

"He urged artists to participate in the program's interaction, to be attentive to our networks and to the launch of calls for assistance and special projects."

According to a report from the Iberesco programme "The fund set up this year at the meeting was 1,092,073.57 EUR, distributed by 136 aids awarded for projects to be undertaken throughout the next year 2024: 31 aids for the Building Line in Residential (with a value of 164,050.90 EUR) and 46 aids for the production line of performing arts (with a value of 371,810,15EUR) and 59 aids for the Programming line of performing and performing space (with a total value of 556,212,52EUR)."

The 2023-2024 call closed on 26 July 2023 with a total of 605 applications sent at the end of the call.
