< strong > Minister of Culture dialogues with artists, producers and managers of creative and cultural industries < / strong >

Representatives of different trade unions from the creative and cultural industries responded to the call of the Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué, to conduct an open dialogue, where ideas were exchanged, concerns and proposals were put forward for support from this sector.

At the meeting, held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), González Villarrué expressed his gratitude for his support for the ministry and his conduct with responsibility and transparency.

He also welcomed proposals from trade unions with an emphasis on quantifying the loss of the artistic and cultural sector and initiatives to promote different events and projects through a cultural agenda, which can be shared by means of the following: agendacultural @ MiCultura.gob.pa and other ideas.

Ximena Eleta, representative of the Festivals Network stated that "the meeting was fruitful and of great transparency by the participants who made proposals to the Minister and his work team. We feel that useful things will come up in the medium term."

The participants applauded the Minister's initiative to call them, to discuss them, to listen to them and to come up with ideas for solutions.

They also expressed that it was important to stick together and paddle from a single side.

The meeting also addressed other points of interest to these managers as: the call for the Fondo Cine, the National Cultural Plan, issues related to copyright and the use of access to theatres administered by MiCultura, among other things.
