< strong > Diplomatic body accredited to Panama receives information about City of the Arts < / strong >

Diplomatic representatives from more than 20 countries accredited to Panama participated in a tour of the modern building of La Ciudad de Las Artes (CDLA) that is expected to be opened next December and will host the different cultural expressions of the country.

The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué explained to the diplomats, including the representative of The Vatican, what the City of The Arts consists of and its importance in becoming cultural.

The visit of diplomats accredited to Panama responded to a shared management with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Panama, represented by his deputy Chancellor, Yill Otero.

Welcoming the diplomatic body, the incumbent of Culture, González Villarrué felt that the CDLA will be a point of convergence and cultural explosion that will have the country and that "will be a meeting place for all but especially for contact with culture and the arts."

The Minister revealed that at the opening of the CDLA there will be an exhibition called "Generation Sinclair" where paintings will be exhibited by Olga Sinclair and his father Alfredo.

The guests were told that the CDLA, located at Llanos de Curundú, is a fulfilled dream that includes seven buildings where schools of dance, plastic arts, theater, headquarters of the National Symphony Orchestra and National Ballet, the National Network of Orquestas and Children's and Youth Chores of Panama and the Impresta La Nación will run.
