< strong > Rino's restaurant adds to the inclusion program of the Ministry of Culture with a menu with a Braille system < / strong >

Following its policies of inclusion, the Ministry of Culture made the fifth delivery of the menu written in Braille system, at this opportunity at Rino's restaurant to facilitate care given to people with visual disabilities.

On behalf of MiCultura, his deputy ministers, Gabriel González stated that "with this menu, in this system, the barrier of communication is really broken and also complied with the law of accessibility."

For his part, Jorge Morales, Director of the Office of Equal Opportunities at MiCultura emphasized that what the Cultural Accessibility Program aims to achieve that spaces and sites of interest such as restaurants facilitate access for people with disabilities.

That event of Braille menu delivery is important "so that people with visual disabilities can come to the restaurant independently and have access to the contents of the menu without anyone telling them or telling them about them," Morales said.

Rino Tamburelli, president of the Association of Restaurants and Stones of Panama and owner of the restaurant where the Braille system menu was delivered highlighted the work of MiCultura and said that the Association will continue to support this program regardless of how governments change

Tamburelli emphasized that at the regional level Panama puts itself at the forefront as one of the first countries in the region to adopt this system that puts the nation at the level of Europe.

The program includes training and monitoring of care personnel at these establishments as well as the delivery of folders with the Braille written menu.
