< strong > MiCultura awards winners of the 2023 < / strong > Middle Chicken Stretch contest

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) awarded this Friday to the winners of the Fairy Fairy Fairy Fairy 2023 at the Anita Villalaz Theater with hundreds of students who accompanied and enjoyed the activity.

The students received recognition: Sarah Cardoze with his "My Wand" from The Oxford International School at First place and Adair Quintero for his work "The Tretamudo and the Professor" from the William Shakespeare Bilingual Center at second place and Hanna Dancer at his "Reason to Be President" tale from the General Basic Educational Center (C.E.B.G) Bilingual Carlos A. Mendoza at third place.

Other awarded students were: María Alejandra Alvarez of the International Academy David, who obtained first mention for the tale "The Perfect People" and second mention was awarded to Jordriana Blandón of the Institute of Applied Sciences of Panama Center for his work, "The President's Great Dream."

Eliette Apolayo, Assistant National Director of The Arts of MiCultura congratulated the children and called them "to continue to read and write up to their aims and goals while at the same time urging them to lean for an artistic activity that will help them to develop and do great men and women. while parents are invited to continue to support their children in these artistic and letter activities."

For his part, Barelis Villegas, mother of the student María Alejandra Alvarez, expressed that "I have always been confident with my daughter's talent and I think that children have to be activated by all hemispheres. That contest is an excellent program and should continue."

After deliberation among the 251 jobs submitted, the qualifying Jury unanimously select the winning works according to the genres of tale, originality, imagination and creativity in compliance with the standards of the contest.

The event was attended by officials from the Ministry of Education, students and teachers at The Oxford International School Panama, William Shakespeare Bilingual College of La Chorro, Carlos A. Mendoza Basic Educational Center, David International Academy, Institute of Applied Sciences and Simón Bolívar Bilingual School.
