Under the pseudonym Sabrato, the jury composed of Mónica Miguel Franco, Beatriz Valdés and Joel Bracho, after analyzing the 17 participating novels, decided to select by a majority of votes the work entered with the title Pheniology of the heartTo be awarded his National Award for Narrative Ariel Barria Alvarado from Novela's short 2023, organized by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura).

"The winning work was emphasized by his excellent management of the language and narrative voices as well as his good use of his own resources to get into his main character's memory and interiority," indicates the jury's decision for this literary contest.

Aleida De Gracia, head of the Letras department of MiCultura, with the notary Julio Morales of the notary 10th and third place, was to open the pica registered under the pseudonym Salatto, which became a member of Dimitrios Gianareas Gil, who in 2022 earned the National Prize for Literature Ricardo Miró in the storytelling Section.
