< strong > Juan Díaz's older adults get performance and scene construction techniques < / strong >

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), as part of the training agenda scheduled for the 2023 Theater Festival, offered a theater workshop at the Anita Villalaz to older adults from the "Welcome with love" group of Juan Díaz's Communal Board.

The participation of this group forms part of the tours of the Ruta del Arte program that takes place MiCultura in conjunction with the older adult program of the Ministry of Social Development focused on the well-being of older people, their accessibility to culture and their cultural rights through the tools provided by art, especially with the collection of groups organized within the communal boards.

They were about 22 older adults who received basic techniques that help to conduct a good play as breathing and stretching exercises as well as an image to create a story and make it reality to put them into a stage.

The guests interacted with a variety of stories, as well as performing a dramatization about public transport users and as a closure they expressed their complacency with the training they received.

The "Rocha del Arte" program began in June and so far has been benefiting from activities such as visits to museums, galleries, theatres and other attractions to older people from the Corridments of Betania, Rio Baja, Calidonia Parque Lefevre, Ancón and Juan Díaz.

The Teatro Festival that began on 11 September focused its workshops on care for young people from high schools and at this time for older people.
