Danzants from the Republic of Korea and Panama shared stage at an artistic show where art, music and folklore were mixed into a lucid presentation called "Bonsaeg True Colors," yesterday at the Anayansi Theater at the Atlapa Convention Center.
About 30 dancers from the Busan Metropolitan Dance Company, South Korea town, have been featured in a single presentation, where they have recreated 50 years of tradition with beautiful and colorful attire that have shown the public the meaning of art and the innate beauty of Korean culture.
With the folklore piece, "Viva Panama," dancers from Panama's National Ballet, participated in this unique event.
The program included the performance of pieces such as Mask's Dance, Great Dance of Peace, Spring Night, Foulden Dance, Seduction, Tambor's Dance, A Love Song, Jangoo's Dance and Nuba Dance.
The free event organized by the Korean Embassy in Panama and the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) forms part of the activities of the 61-year-old diplomatic relations between the two countries aims, through music, art and dance, to strengthen the links of cultural and binational friendship.

The Busan Metropolitan Dance Company was established in 1973 as the first local company of the Korean Dance with the intention of sharing Korean dance with the world through international exchanges for a more active future.
They currently have 42 active members with artistic director JungYun Lee who is the artistic director and star dancer in the world of Korean dance.
