With the Folkloric piece adapted to the ballet, "Viva Panama," the Panama National Ballet will share the stage with the Busan Metropolitan Dance Company, South Korea, at the show called "Bonsaeg True Colors," to be held on July 18 at 7: 00 p.m. at the Atlapa Convention Center.

The event organized by the Korean Embassy in Panama and the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) forms part of the 61-year-old activities of diplomatic relations between both countries aims at strengthening the links of culture and binational friendship through music, art and dance.

They will be 30 stage dancers that "will show the public the meaning of the art and inborn beauty of Korean culture, as well as showing through traditional antique and modern pieces a little something that can be harmony, well-being and desires of humanity," emphasized Lee Jung-yoon, artistic director of the Korean dance company.

His Excellency Jeong Jinkyu, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, emphasized that "through the Ministry of Culture there have been many cooperation with respect to culture, and they have helped with understanding and sharing knowledge and what we will have with us that brotherhood between both peoples through art."

"They have been many years of mutual learning and appraisal of both cultures, and have been based on respect and peaceful and harmonious co-existence and especially on the manifestations of our peoples's spirit through the arts and expressions of our heritage diversity," stated Giselle González Villarrué, Minister of Culture.

González Villarrué reiterated that "for the Ministry of Culture it's an honor to share scene through the National Ballet of Panama at the show" True Colors, "considered as one of Korea's best and most versatile production and as part of the 2030 World Expo-World Expand that seeks to introduce the town of Busan as an axis of Korean art and culture."
