< strong > Members of Panama's Network of Orchestra and Youth Choirs captivate the public at a concert at the Metropolitan Cathedral < / strong >

More than 80 members of the Panama Youth Orchestra and Choirage Network of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) participated in the concert that was held at the Plaza de la Independencia and that marked the closure of the year 2023 camp and that was held to strengthen his musical knowledge.

The participants were youth from the Panama Youth Symphony Orchestra who performed high-level pieces such as Finland, by Jean Sibelius, and Lake of the Cisnes and The Plantas, by Gustav Holst.

"I'm so glad to know that it's been a week of learning and sharing knowledge, for both students and teachers and it's impressive that they have been able to play high-level works as Holst," remarked Alexis Fong, Coordinator of the Panama Center Network Module.

Electra Castillo, national director of La Red, emphasized that the public had a great joy to see how these young Panamanian people are making good music and called on their parents to continue to support their children in their music training.

Other pieces performed by the youth members of the Network and with public acceptance were La Paranda de Panama by Toby Muñoz and a Popurri by Pérez Prado, among others.

The concert was also part of the start of the activities scheduled to celebrate the seventh anniversary of the creation of La Red, with more than seven thousand members at national level.
