The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), with the Classical Culture Quartet, visited the New Life Foundation and shared with older people a different musical evening.

The Repertoire included a musical display with pieces from different ages and the musicians gave teaching to older adults with information about each instrument and reviews of different musical themes.

The old people, most with reduced mobility, enjoyed the small concert and at the end of each melody they applauded and asked for help to get up from their wheelchairs, dancing to them with a waltz and popular folk piece, "The Feelings of the Soul" by Panamanian accordionist Osvaldo Ayala.

"The bet at the third festival of class groups, is a gain-gain. The musicians felt thankful for the opportunity. The older people celebrated their lives and the Ministry of Culture fulfilled their role of leading culture where necessary," said Damaris Vásquez, from the National direction of The Arts.

The 2023 Conference Group Festival includes several activities for young adults and children with the presentation of 17 face-to-face concerts and 17 training workshops for specialists and the general public interested in knowing, learning and enjoying music.

The Fundación Nueva Vida (Nueva Vida Foundation) is a non-profit organization with the main aim and aim of providing assistance to older people from all social strata, who, as a result of their family and social circumstances, require continuous assistance with the conduct of daily activities.
