At the Gil Blas Tejeira auditorium at the University of Panama, the Quinteto Farka held a classical music concert for teachers and students at the Social Communication School, in celebration of the 14 years of implementation of the event and corporate protocol race.

The Fanka musical group formed by a quintet of young Panamanian professionals performed a varied repertoire that included classical and Panamanian musical pieces with a unique sonorous beauty and a brilliance and timbrian variety of wood wind instruments.

Damus Vásquez, of the national direction of The Arts of MiCultura emphasized that "the third festival, an occasion where we celebrate music, an art that provoke an experience with the listener, feelings, emotions and thought, above all, fulfill a therapeutic function."

The festival includes up to 18 of this month 17 concerts and workshops at different theatres, universities and public spaces throughout the country.

The Farka group that emerges with the intention of making good level music, is composed of a quintet of classical wood wind and its members are: Gabija Laurinaityte, at the flute, Leopold Magnlion Plummer, at the Oboe, Cesar Castillo at the Clarinet, Erick De León, at the French Corno and Keith Odbil, at the Fagot.

The festival aims at promoting the creation, production and circulation of camera music at national level and at promoting the development of emerging artists in the field of music.
