< strong > Chiricanos artists mark the 317th anniversary of the Foundation of the Province of Chiriquí < / strong >

With the presentation of 33 pieces of art with free expressions and themes and with different technologies, at the Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) an exhibition to celebrate the 176th anniversary of the Chiriquí Foundation.

The paper submitted was by the authors of 26 artists who united into what has been referred to as an "Exhibition and Cultural Embassy of Chiriquí 174 Anniversary of Founding" and that will be exhibited until May 17.

The exhibition pays tribute to the great and established and emerging talents of the Chiricana province as are Edwin Miranda, Franklin Rodriguez and elsy Acosta, who have been able to have a siege at the plastic stage of the capital town.

The memory of some of his important plastic figures as the "master" Guillermo Trujillo, considered of Panama's most important artists, as well as Eudoro Silvera, a great Chiricaturist, is also appreciated.

Artworks by Antonio Singh, Adriana Hernández, Alexis González, Antonella Pittaco, Arianela Acosta, Carlos Miranda, Carmen Montezuma, Dalila Colindres, Dalys Frago, Daniela Glorieth González, Diener Boya Lara, Dora Morgan and Grethel Chavarría, among others.

"There are a number of artists both born and come to the province who seek an opportunity to share their art, and that's why the initiative of the Galería Arte Espacio Chiriquí (Galería Arte Espacio Chiriquí) was born to organize a collective to introduce to the art critics of Panama City, the work currently being done by the new generation of artists in Chiriquí," emphasized Antonio Singh, Executive Director of the Galería Arte Espacio Chiriquí and organizer of the exhibition.

The exhibition will be available from Monday to Friday from 8: 00 a.m. to 4: 00 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 9: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m. and is open to all public.
