About 300 students from the Adelaide Viuda College of Herrera, from Costa Abajo de Colón, were invited by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), to the general essay of the staging of the play of the Chocarachita Mandinga, written by Rogelio Sinan, with music by Gonzalo Brenes and orchestration by Roque Cordero.

Also participated in the staging of older adults of the Association "Welcome with Amor" of Juan Diaz's rectification, who enjoyed the essay.

The participation of both groups forms part of the actions undertaken by the Ministry of Culture through the leadership of National of The Arts, Cultural Rights and Citizenship and the regional leadership of Colón with a view to enabling all Panamanians to have access to the enjoyment of cultural activities and spaces.

The guests commended the performance, talent and skill of the dancers as well as the stage and live music of the National Symphony Orchestra.

Gloria Barrios, Executive Director of the National Ballet noted that "we have been greatly pleased with these youth who have been able to come from Colón Province, because it's our best interest that the whole country embraces the arts and culture and what a best time for the staging of the Mandinga Chocarachita on International Day of Dance"
