On Saturday April 29th, Plaza V Centenario will host the II Blue Culture Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) in conjunction with the Ann Sullivan Panama Center (CASpAN) with the aim of raising public awareness about autism as a condition and not as an illness.

The festival's program includes an agenda of musical presentations, cultural activations, educational workshops and a conference entitled "The Spectrum of Autism: A Way of Potential."

The square that will be embellished with blue will become a "family space of teaching and awareness, for children, youth and adults, it's our duty to know the different tools that can help us to guarantee the right of people with autism, to know that they are functional people and for that reason we have included a conference that will address this issue," emphasized Jorge Morales, Director of the Office of Equal Opportunities at MiCultura.

The activity is free, open to the public and will start from 2: 00 p.m. and is part of the activities commemorating the World Autism Awareness Day that takes place every 2 April and that this year has been called "For a neuroinclusive world for all" and that seeks their acceptance, support, inclusion and defence of their rights.
