The Minister of Culture, (MiCultura) Giselle González Villarrué at an invitation from the Metropolitan History Circle participated in the Cultural Colloquium in honor of the poets and writers Gaspar Octavio Hernández Diana Arosemena, Mélida Sepúlveda, Rodolfo Aguilera and Mario Augusto Rodriguez.

The event was held at the headquarters of the Union of Journalists of Panama, where journalists Rafael Candanedo, Griselda López, Rolando Tréllez and architect Jorge Laguna Navas reported journalistic and anecdotal experiences with each of the journalists who served as teachers to those who began their profession.

Minister González Villarrué emphasized that these figures that gave an important contribution to the development of the journalistic profession were the model of future professionals.

He put the professionalism of these Panamanian people who leave a legacy in Panamanian journalism, embracing veracity in his writings as one of the main teachings for future communicators.
