< strong > Open call for seven literary competitions < / strong >

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) announces to interested parties that they are open to call for the seven literary competitions that the cultural entity organizes for them and that they seek to promote and stimulate literary production among children, youth and adults.

The MiCultura through the Fairs and Literary Meetings department of the national direction of Las Artes will ensure that the contest's bases are met, including the National Prize for Children and Youth Literature, Carlos Francisco Changmarín, Young Poetry Competition, Gustavo Batista Cedeño, National Prize for Literature, Ricardo Miró, and Counting Competition, Medio Pollito.

In addition to the new contest created are the National Youth Counting Competition, Rosa María Britton, the National Narrative Award, Ariel Barria Alvarado and the published Work Competition, Pedro Correa Vásquez.

The call is open to Panamanian writers by birth or by naturalization, living in and outside the country, in the categories of child and youth tale, poetry, essay, literary creation and novel.

The date of closure for the different contest are as follows: Mill-Pollito Fairy Competition, May 31, published work contest Pedro Correa Vásquez, June 13, National Youth Fairy contest Rosa María Britton, June 19, National Literature Competition Ricardo Miró, June 30, National Prize for Children and Youth Literature Carlos Francisco Changmarín, July 7, and Young Poetry contest Gustavo Batista, July 23 and National Narrative Award Ariel Alvarado, August 17.
