< strong > The National Crafts Fair 2023 < / strong > will be held in July

From 26 to 30 July 2023, at the ATLAPA Convention Center, the XLIII National Crafts Fair will be held in honor of the "Danzas de Corpus Christi" organized at this time by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) and with the participation of about 500 artisan.

The artisan interested in being part of this event that promotes direct sales between exhibitors and consumers and that promotes traditions, culture and Panamanian identity, will have to register their catalogs from Monday 10th April at regional and local addresses of MiCultura at national level from 8: 00 a.m. to 4: 00 p.m..

Those applying to registration of catalogs should have regard to the fact that the required documentation corresponds to the person charged with the stand at the fair and fulfill a number of requirements such as keeping up with their personal identity document and with their handicraft and if dedicated to consumer, gastronomy and artisan cosmetics, among others, they have to have a health, white and green card.

For the presentation and registration of the catalogue, the organizers note that the catalogue should be delivered on white pages of 8 ½ "x 11" with a cover that includes full name, number of cordage, artisan activity (es) to which they apply, commercial social networks if they have them.

In addition to including tidy photographs of their products with their respective technical references and details (raw material, measurements, (use) among others: name of the piece, description, dimensions), we recommend high-quality photos with neutral backgrounds.

The final date for registration of catalogs will be April 28, with the exception of the local areas that will have an extension up to May 2, 2023. It's important to note that copies of cendula, handicraft and health carnet should be included from both sides.

Esther Pérez de Herrera, National Director of Crafts, stated that the fair "is a platform, space, commercial display that offers different proposals or crafts lines, from our regional events, enabling the visitor to buy directly and interplay with the artisan, his main aim being to place itself not only for his cultural value but also for his characteristic quality, his exposure and his production."
