< strong > MiCultura LIT FESTIVAL ORGANIZATION TO IMPOSE CRITORS < / strong >

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) will conduct two literary festivals in March and April, one at the Chat Arco on March 25 and the other at Albrook Mall on April 2.

The first will be the "Fifth Festival of the Panamanian Writer and Verse under the Arco," where 56 writers have been shown and will include the presentation of books, musical events, independent writers' forums and the dramatized reading of the novel "The Beginner."

In addition to the writers' presentation, the festival includes an artisan market, a gastronomic offer and an display of works by plastic artists that will start at 12: 00 noon.

The "4th Festival of Children and Youth Literature 2023" will be held on April 2 from 11: 00 a.m. in the corridor of El Delfín de Albrook Mall (FESTILIJ) dedicated to the writer Patricia Alvarado.

TheFESTILIJIt's a place of citizenship that makes it easier to meet with the imaginary of children's literature and the arts, with as a special centre the children's book as an object that transmits culture, thought Carlos Fong, a reader of MiCultura.

That project was undertaken by the Ministry of Culture, in partnership with the National Library of Panama, the Panamanian Association of Lectur- (APALEC), the Panamanian Academy of Children's Literature (INDIJ), the Panamanian Chamber of Book (CAPALI), the Carlos Francisco Changmarín Foundation and the Municipality of Panama, among other reading partners who came together to have a party dedicated to the children's and youth book.
