< strong > EXpONEN ON BY-DIRECTORIES AND challenges of women at the MUSIC DURING international convention < / strong >

With the development of the "Training" event, representatives of countries such as Chile, Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama continued the International Convention of Women in Music held at the Anita Villalaz Theater of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura).

At the Conversatorio, by Panama were Malanie Taylor (violinist and musicotapist) and Margarita Troesch (teacher and pianist) who told the audience about his first and his experiences with his musical training.

In his intervention, Taylor referred to important issues by signalling "points to create an equitable gender training set to be a secure, predictable and respectful person."

On the other hand, Margarita Troesch stated that "all children have a right to an art education and thus have the need to create coherence in music by establishing a true path for the education of the arts.

Overall, panelists put forward challenges faced by women in music, such as allowing them to live their lives, training and access to secure spaces where they can be expressed, lack of empathy, systematic violence and family support, among others.
