Panama formalizes with the UNESCO request about Transseismic Colonial Route

Panama formalised with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) the surrender of the file, the Management Plan and the inter-agency management system so that the Transitory Colonial Route (RCT) will be declared as a World Heritage Site.
The surrender event came with a note submitted by the Permanent Ambassador of Panama to the UNESCO, Elia Guerra to the president of the World Heritage Center with headquarters in Paris, France, Lazare Eloundou Assomo.
The RCT includes sites of the Spanish colony in Panama that are St. Lawrence's Castle, the Way of Cruces, Old Town, the site of Old Panama, the Royal Way and Portobelo and that were supported after a strict work by the Ministry of Culture (MyCulture).
Panama thus met with documentation at the established dates to be considered and as part of this process, experts from the World Heritage Centre will come to the country to get to know about the validity of the support made by the MiCultura.
The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué emphasized the economic, cultural and tourist impact that will have for Panama that the UNESCO declare RCT as World Heritage.
