In commemoration of the World Day of the Braille system, the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) submitted three menu with this type of writing to the restaurant Taberne 21 from Via Argentina for the benefit of people with visual disabilities.

That action forms part of the strategies of the Ministry of Culture through the Office of Equal Opportunities for inclusion for persons with this type of disability.

Jorge Morales, Director of Equal Opportunities, explained that the Cultural Ministry has a plan to give more facilities to people with disabilities to all cultural spaces, including restaurants that can be regarded as tourist and culinary art attractions.

"We wish to continue to replicate at other restaurants and locations so that people with visual disabilities have access to these contents and have places of leisure and entertainment to whom they can visit."

Meanwhile, Edgar Francisco Herrera, a member of the Lozo del Blind and a person with visual disabilities, said that she "filled with joy and satisfaction to know that little by little we are providing inclusion and accessibility to people with visual disabilities."

The production of the menu with this typography was supported by Ornament Lozo del Blind to put this institutional initiative into practice.

The kit was delivered by MiCultura, his deputy Minister Gabriel González, his Director of the Office of Equal Opportunities, Jorge Morales and members of Ornament Luz del Cyego.
