"Evolution," an exposure that shows us, painting as a vital necessity

An artistic collective filled with symbolism, colors and techniques called "Evolution," formed by interdisciplinary and contextual work by 18 artists who, under the guidance of the renowned painter, teacher and "master" of the Panamanian plastic Luis Olaciregui, was open to the public from November 1 at the Juan Manuel Cedeño visual arts gallery of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura)
"That's an important exhibition, because we have been giving this group of youth an effort and dedication, and a dream come true. I have been wanting to see one of the students I run independently of the school for years," said Luis Olaciregui.
"It took us years, it's not from day to day, here's a lot of work, a lot of dedication and a lot of surrender. It's an exhibition that was not made by thinking about an exhibition, it's a work that was made, searching for, experimenting with and using them," added the "teacher."
Boris González, Carmen de Flowers, José María Olivella, Mona Lisa Fong, Xenia Barria, Carlos Rivera, Samuel Cohen, Jenny Mae Rodriguez, Marta Corro, Dileiby Portillo, among others that show us 32 pictorial works and 2 sculptures, a high artistic quality, full of sensitivities and with a vision of different realities.
"It's very good for us to have them at this gallery of his, the only state gallery of Panama, and to have this collective that shows us these thoughts of a painter and especially with the guide of" master "Olaciregui, one of the best instructors that anyone can have," stated Isabel Burgos, National Director of The Arts of MiCultura.
The sample is available to the public at the MiCultura gallery, located at the building known as Las Bóvedas at the Casco Antiguo of Panama City, until November 15th at 9: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m. and at no cost.
