The second version of the House Group Festival was successfully closed

The second edition of the Conference Group Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) closed with a golden clasp with two excellent presentations from the Coffee Group at the Balboa Theater and with the Istmeño Quartet at the Anita Villalaz Theater.

At the closing concert, MiCultura gave a recognition to three personalities who with their work have grown music in Panama, such as Pianist Emily Butcher, Violinist musician Roberto Pérez and Pianos Refiner and Refiner Carlos Gómez.

For three weeks, music lovers met at different locations to enjoy the extensive classical, global and modern repertoire that they offered duos, quartets and quintetes who accompanied with instruments such as thrombones, flutes, violins and harps, among others made virtuous presentations that were popular.

The festival had a great training program that benefited about 300 youth from different bands and youth music groups, who have acquired new knowledge and advice to improve their performance quality.

With this festival, MiCultura closed a successful arts party that included more than a hundred activities, most of them free with all artistic disciplines as well as the award of the most important literary awards in the country
