More than a thousand 500 people enjoyed the great folklore sample of the National Ballet of Panama

The Panama National Ballet, as part of his 50 years old, offered three beautiful evenings filled with Panamanian folklore, called "Tipic Gala," with more than 1,500 pesones.
The gala was prepared with the aim of sharing with dance lovers while at the same time performing to highlight through dance, national roots and traditions and to welcome him to November, the month of his homeland.
They were three functions performed at the National Theater where the public enjoyed a remembrance of the Panamanian folklore dances, such as the "Pito Santa Librada," "El Gallo and la Gallina," "Viva Panama," "Diablitos de Espejo," "diablicos Sutios," and "Sentimiento de mi Paria," among others that were at the best of an audience that rewarded danzants with great applause and the traditional "bravo" every intervention.
Outstanding were the performances of the ballet members, who with beautiful stylizations of typical Panamanian costumes paid a great tribute to the homeland with music and folkloric dances at a fully filled National Theater that earlier days responded positively to seek their tickets and enjoy each of the free jobs.
The choreographies submitted were prepared by the teachers Graciela Guillen, María Elena Jiménez, Juan Carlos Costoya, José Villamil, Andrés Nieto, Julio Arauz and Ivan Tenorio.
The National Ballet of Panama was first introduced in 1972 and has had among its directors distinguished dancers as: Nitzia Cucalón de Martín, Julio Arauz, Raisa Gutiérrez, Joyce Vives, Armando Villamil, Anacela Smith, Graciela Guillén, Andrés Nieto, Maruja Herrera, Lilah Trotiño, Sasha Adamovic, Marek Cholewa and Cristina Quijano.
Gloria Barrios, executive director of the National Ballet expressed his satisfaction with the public's great response during his presentations this year and advanced that to close 2022, from 7 to 11 December they will come back to the National Theater and that by 17 December they will be at the Domo of Retractive Park Omar.
The most important dance group in the country has been supported by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) and has been growing as its dancers have been trained at national and international level and have been recognised as high level of art and have been mainly eligible to represent Panama in different dance competitions and have been awarded important awards.
