MiCultura ANNOUNCES THE FLOWER OF THE ARTS CIUTY

Roberto Enrique Domínguez Resero was the winner of the contest called by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) to design the logo that will be the image of the City of The Arts, a project that will be open earlier next year.

A total of 120 proposals from designers from Panama, Panama West and Chiriquí, among other regions of the country, were put forward and the winner received a cash prize from B / 3,000.00.

The Jury of specialists among them Franklin Rodriguez, a painter, an art teacher and winner of the second and first place of the National Visual Arts Competition in 2018 and 2021 respectively. Also with the appreciation of Diana Araúz Ayala, an architect with an expert in Sustainable Architecture.

The Jury Team complete with Raúl Correa De Boutaud, currently a multidisciplinary art director and founder of Branding Brandt's firm in November 2018.

Following his announcement as winner, Domínguez Resero detailed that for the production of the logo "was based on the modern city as a set of architecture and roads that invites us to explore more, showing different human expressions and the work and efforts of Panamanian people."

The contest was organized by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), through the national direction of The Arts to identify the project currently built at Llanos de Curundú and that will integrate into a single place all artistic expressions such as the Symphony Orchestra and the National Ballet, schools of theater, dance, plastic arts, the National Institute of Music and the Youth School of Music, among others.
