Sample of Korean dance to celebrate 6 decades of cultural union

In celebration of 60 years of bilateral relations between the Republic of Korea and Panama, the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea once again tightened their ties of brotherhood through culture with the presentation of "Winds of the Island: Jeju Dances," put into place at the National Theater by the Dance Company of the Special Autonomous Province of Jeju.
The public could be astonished with the participation of more than 30 artists who set up traditional Korean dances, vividly portraying landscapes framed at the four stations of the island, offering a beautiful show filled with music, customs and traditions of the unique culture and Jeju's characteristics.
Through dances such as "Taepyeongseongdae," "Jinsoe," "Bak, dong," "Aerangga," "Haenyeo," "Seoljanggo," among them that have been brought with them the emotions of the public who enjoyed the legends that engulf the four stations of the year that are held on the island of Jeju, the largest in South Korea.
Also the great colors of the "hanbok" and the traditional Korean dress and cheesy chords that emitted musical instruments such as Janggu, Buk, Kkwaenggwari and others were also from the public's appreciation that they enjoyed every interpretation through ovations and applause.
He responded to José Ismael herrera, General Secretary of MiCultura to extend his words of welcome to the event and to report on the activities that have been undertaken with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Panama in recent months and that have been useful in strengthening cultural cooperation alliances dedicated to promoting our knowledge and traditions.
For his part, Jung Jin Kyu, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Panama, stated in his statement "I would call for continued support so that partnership and friendly cooperation between two countries can be further built up. 2022 is a significant year as it marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both nations, which have been deepened and strengthened by shared values and mutual confidence."
