MiCultura MUSIC CAPACITES ON AUTOR's RIGHT TEMAS

The Ministry of Culture, through the National Board of Copyright, trained 50 musicians with a view to promoting and strengthening the system of protection of his property and moral rights.
The training also included other issues such as related rights and proper enforcement of the law at national level as well as standards established by international treaties signed by Panama.
At the workshop they discussed standards related to the protection of creations, literary, artistic and scientific domains, in any form of expression.
Eric Velasco, national director of copyright at MiCultura told participants that a system with the Government Innovation Authority (AIG) was being run to facilitate processing and effectively monitoring documentation related to the copyright protection process
