Fostering creativity through audiovisual tools

Creativity and ingenuity by using the opportunity offered by technologies is the main goal of the "cellulage" workshops promoted by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) through the National Direction of the Cinematographic and Audiovisual Industry (DICINE) and directed at high and medium-level students.

Recently, through workshops, 25 (25) American Institute students participated in training activity that also encourages young people to develop their critical thinking as well as to generate new skills at audiovisual level, enabling them to explore areas of jobs other than traditional ones.

Audiovisual projects focused on care of the environment, promoting environmental culture, where students put their creative skills into practice and did four productions applying knowledge acquired in script, photo, sound, editing and after production

To conduct the workshops we have been advised by an expert from the Experimental University Cinema Group (GECU), Andy Alveo, Ylaritza Best and Georgina Tovar and Eduardo Herrera and Shinya Hattori, environmental experts from the AAUD and from Eneida Caraballo in the research part of education.
