Writer Larissa Barrios presents his collection of tales "Four Stories and a house full of books"

Four Stories and A House Fitted with Books was the work of the Carlos Francisco Changmarín 2021 National Prize for Children and Youth Literature, which was presented at the day of Saturday, August 20, at the International Panama 2022 Book Fair (FIL Panama), an architect of the industrial engineer Larissa Barrios.

At the presentation of the book that was held at Amelia Denis's Icaza living room at the Megapolis ConVENTION Center, headquarters of FIL Panama 2022, the writer submerged those present into an adventure for the characters and titles of the collection of stories that include his book among them, The search for Ulla y The enchanted island for the children's Section while for youth they are The three desires, The adventurer penguins y Ada's tales.

Within each of them she addresses stories about environmental conservation, the biodiversity of isthma, the migration of animals by our country, the part of the maritime and port sector, personal and ambitions values, among other things, that do so a book with messages capable of catching the public children and youth.

Located from a community close to Chifree, Larissa Barrios is an industrial engineering specialist in supply chain with experience in the maritime area but with a love for nature and a great love for reading, which is reflected in his book that best earned his choice for the award Carlos Francisco Changmarín established in 2008 and that aims to promote people who write for children and youth.

"I had always wanted to write, it was as a great wish from a long time ago, I have been quite a reader from very small, one of my favorites was Selecciones magazine, was my entrance to reading tragedies with positive message. The first thing I have been texting in ink was the story of my father grandmother and the immortalicé in the book Stories of Josefina and from that I knew that I would continue to write, said Larissa Barrios, during the discussion of the presentation of Four stories and a house full of books.

The first copies of these copies to Larissa Barrios were delivered by the directors of MiCultura Isabel Burgos, National Director of The Arts and Enrique Noel of Cultural Rights and Citizenship and co-workers of the Publication department. They can be acquired at La Casa del Writer Panamanian, located at the San Felipe correction, within the installations of the Santo Domingo Convent (Arco Chato).
