"A Red at the Rommel" highlights player 12's emotions

The voice of the person with his number 12 t-shirt, that fanatic who at every party gets excited and saddened by every play, faithfully supporting his team has been translated through Ramiro Ochoa Aguilera's pen in his book "A Red at the Rommel" and that was presented on Saturday August 20 by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) at his pavilion as part of the International Book Fair 2022.
He responded to Enrique Noel, director of Cultural Rights and Citizenship and to Priscilla Delgado, chief of publications at MiCultura to give his first copies to Juan Ramón Solís, president of the Association of Panama's Fumocologists (Afutpa) who was accompanied by both male and female national players and former players including Blas Pérez, Armando Cooper, Roman Torres, Valentin Pimentel, Aamelis De Mera and Sumra Samuel.
To support all cultural initiatives focused on highlighting our culture, our identity to show what we do, aimed at promoting and sharing what unites us, said Enrique Noel, director of Cultural Rights and Citizenship.
For his part, Ramiro Ochoa Aguilera, the author of the book and his profession lawyer, explained that his two passions of writing and football are reflected in this book and urged people to acquire the book, to identify with history and to continue to support our players, as many of them come from humble neighborhoods and with great care get a name through sports.
The essay "A Red at the Rommel" was the result of the first sports literary contest, Luis Rentería, held in 2021 by MyCultura and Afutpa with the aim of strengthening culture, sports and education, while honoring the memory of Luis Gabriel "Matagatos" Renteria, an exemplary player that had been named after Panama in leagues of Mexico, Colombia and Bolivia and who died in 2014 as a result of a cardiac arrest, as a result of complications caused by lupus.
The sales of this book will be to the benefit of the Association Panamanian de Lupus (Apalupus). The place of sale of this work will soon be announced.
