With puppet theater play they promote reading in children

With the theme "The Book Is The Best," the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) had lively and attractive puppet presentations, directed at elementary and kindergarten students, in the cultural space of this ministry, at the International Book Fair.

The aim of this initiative is to "motivate the little ones who enjoy the book and reading and to consider literature as an ally and the book as a friend and not as an assignment or something boring," as stated Isabel Burgos, National Director of The Arts of MiCultura.

Magic characters such as La Tinaja, La Cujarra, El Violín and El diablico Sutius were the protagonists of this work, spelling hundreds of little ones who with a face of astonishment, joy and care followed this fun story.

That activity forms part of the joint work of MiCultura's National Directorate of Cultural Rights and Arts, who with this fun work briefly and amusing the topic of reading.
