MiCultura Pavilion at Book Fair offers public activities

The stand of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) was very busy on the first day of development of the International Book Fair (FIL Panama 2022) where a play of puppets, exchange of national authors, reading and teaching in Braille system, and the "human library" space that had as its protagonists Giselle González Villarrué and the singer and director of the group Los Rabanes, Emilio Regueira.

The activity began with the work "The Book Is The Best," that was the pleasure of the boys and girls who enjoyed this presentation with magic characters dapically operated by MiCultura personnel.

Also, the regional cultural promoter at Colón, Edgard Morales, with visual disabilities read texts in Braille and was accompanied by a teacher from the Ornance's light patronate, Professor Melissa Hernández.

It was then up to national writers to have an opportunity to welcome interested visitors to get to know their works and at the same time to offer their books to the public.

The national authors at this session were Diomedes Martínez, Mayra Castillo, Nelva Cossio, Yanier Balbier, Andrés Nieves, Gianela Villarreal, Raisa Calderon, Carlos Mazuera, José M. Aguilar, Julian Pérez, Kathia Arjona and Osvaldo Urriola.

The day at the MiCultura stand at FIL 2022 concluded with the space called "Human Library" where both Minister González Villarrué and "rock musician Emilio Regueira with the conduct of journalist Madeleine Leignadier

In the dynamic of this space, the panelists responded to questions from assistants about their professional field, production of television, González Villarrué and in music, Emilio Regueira.

The MiCultura stand will be providing entertainment, information and teaching for all public.
