The Network's Talents will have an opportunity to be shown in Europe

Young Jovanis Torres, Cornist and Artemisia Olave, violinist, both members of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of The National Network of Youth Orchestra and Choirs of Panama will be with more than 40 musicians from the National Youth Orchestra (OJS) of Odre of Uruguay, in Germany, France and Europe as a cultural exchange through the Ibero-Youth program.

The international tour with the participation of the young musicians, Torres from Coclé and Olave from the province of Chiriquí are part of the OJS's annual agenda, in which they have considered the Panamanian musicians who will offer their talent at Berlin -Kassel, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Tenerife and the University of Navarra in Spain, presenting themselves at auditoriums as Konzerthaus.

According to Electra Castillo, national director of La Red de Orquestas, both boys were chosen as leaders in their respective sectionalities as with Jovanis Torres, who is the main cornist of the Cornos line and while Artemisia Olave is the Concertina, the main violin of the orchestra.

The best points of the tour include a performance at the Konzerthaus in Berlin, at the Young Euro Classic Festival, considered to be one of the most prestigious events for youth orchestras, and an performance with the Youth Orchestra at the University of Navarra, at a student exchange.

Also, at Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with the local orchestra they will play a repertoire that includes works by great composers from both sides of the Atlantic as Gerónimo Giménez, Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Gardel or Héctor Tossar, among others.

Electra Castillo added that "this exchange represents a good experience for the training and growth of these youth who have been trying to improve their musical quality and at the same time it's excellent news amidst the sixth anniversary of the network."
