MiCultura SUPPOYA INTEGRAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES IN JUDGMENT

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) through the Cultural Rights and Citizenship Section participates in the inter-agency project "Youth We are the Force" that aims to provide youth with skills development for life through culture and sport.The project also involves other ministerial entities such as MIDES, MINSEG and PanDeportes.
Among the activities of this project, MiCultura held a Tancúa workshop at the Coliseo León "Cocoliso" Tejada de Plaza Amador at the Corridment of El Chorrillo where, through the rhythm and techniques we have been strengthening discipline, respect, co-ordination, teamwork and following indications. At this session directed by Blanca Choy and Rubén Vallarino, partners of MiCultura have been involved with 20 youth that are within this project.
Lastenia González, Community Culture Coordinator invited young people to participate and sign up for the courses offered by the Metropolitan Cultural Center as: classical ballet, modern dance, folklore, music, painting and drawing that will start on August 22.
The Metropolitan Cultural Centre is situated close to the seafood market at San Felipe and caters for children, youth and adults from 8: 00 a.m. to 4: 00 p.m. and interested parties will be free to sign up as from Monday, August 15th through the link that will be available at the networks of the Ministry of Culture.
