Writer Eyra Harbar gets Changmarín 2022

The bocatorean writer, Eyra Harbar won the Carlos Francisco Changmarín National Children's and Youth Literature Competition with the poemary "Bus Hope" presented under the pseudonym "Cholibrí de sac blue" and outstanding among the 21 proposals put forward.

Each year, since 2008, it has been incumbent on the Letras department of the national management of the arts of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) to organize this contest, which seeks excellence in the drafting of participants focused on issues that capture the public children and youth.

The contest that pays tribute to Carlos Francisco Changmarín considered as one of the Panamanian talents in the arts, intersects every year with the genres of tale and poetry, and in 2022 was an opportunity for established and emerging writers to have his most significant verses to capture the care of children and youth.

The unanimous decision was adopted after the jury, formed by Ela Urriola, Irene de Delgado and Gorka Lassa Tribaldos, leaned for "Bus hope" whose winner receives an award from B / 5.000.00 as she considers that the complainant mixes messages and reflections with a high creative flight that gives visibility to the lives of children and youth in today's world.

The Jury also highlighted the works "Bird without name" and "Checheres and Checherites" among the 21 works put forward.
