Measures to highlight the heritage values of Santa Ana

The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué and some of his team of directors, held an outreach meeting with representatives of the St. Anne's Board with whom they discussed the value of the historic site, the creation of the development of the creative and cultural industries of the sector, the conclusion of their 350 years and the establishment of an agreement for cultural cooperation that will support the initiatives designed and those that will come to the future.

The head of the cultural portfolio congratulated the representatives of this association for the activities they have been developing and have shown an interest in telling the story of Santa Ana, enhancing the cultural value of the site, but especially wanting to do things well, working for the community and for the essence of the place.

On the issues referred to at the meeting, Yazmin Morat, president of the St. Anne's Board, noted that she was pleased with this session, where the Minister "expressed her collaboration with her addresses for the 350 year celebration of the" Arrabal of St. Anne "and gave us ideas of other activities that we can conduct."

With the formality of the convention they could be strengthened at workshops in different themes, advice with regard to the conservation of cultural and intangible heritage, support with the BID for entrepreneurs, the conduct of the "Arrabal Museum" that includes the patronate among other actions that will revitalize the area and its living heritage.
