Recognized legacy of ten Panamanian Troopers

To pay tribute to the contribution made by the Trovators and poets of the 10th at national level, the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), through the national direction of Folklore and the regional direction of the province of Veraguas, together with the Union of Panamanian Trovators, was awarded an recognition to these artists that through their verses give us compositions that are part of our folklore and traditions.

The activity that was held at Atalaya as part of the "Day of the Trovador and the Poet of the Tenth Panama" that takes place every June 16 aims to strengthen the legacy of traditions of these men and women who have been singing to the countryside, their land, their people and their traditions.

MiCultura added to the organisation of the activity that was involved in an Eucharist and to the recognition ceremony to recognized personalities of this genus as Kiko Rodriguez, Magno Rodriguez and Rubén Darius Campos among other troopators at national level as well as to the development of the First Concourse of Tenth Zacarias Marín, a tropador that died in 2021.

The event was closed with the participation of fifteen trovators that delight the public with their performances and with the surrender of the Zacarias Marín cup to the sumpheres, Arquimedes Hernández.
