Panamanian children will participate in music workshops with trainers from the young national orchestra of Spain

Some 160 children from different parts of the country will participate in workshops to learn and improve their knowledge in performing classical music tools and will be dictated by five youth from the Young National Orchestra of Spain (JONDE).
Following an agreement with IBERORQUESUS, the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) through the Panama National Network of Youth Orquestas and Coros and with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNUNDP), Spanish youth will be in Panama teaching for 12 days.
The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué welcomed the young trainers whom she thanked for their contribution to the musical training of Panamanian children and at the same time invited them to get to know about Panamanian culture and folklore.
The camp that coincides with the children's school leave period will be held in Chitre, Province of Herrera and will be run by Carlos Martín, Ignacio Cano Raboso, Rocío Bolaños del Pozo, Susana Ríos Mena and Ángela Edo Biol, who were selected on their merits by JONDE to conduct these workshops.
