MiCultura and SAN MIGUELITO ALMALDIY AGREED ACTIONS TO FIGHT CULTURAL MANAGEMENT

The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué, received the Director of Culture at the mayor's office of San Miguelito, Henry Gorgona, with whom she held a dialogue to set up and strengthen cultural exchange programs.
The incumbent of MiCultura expressed the entity's willingness to work with local governments and invited authorities to conduct children's singing and composer competitions as a way to promote children's interest in culture and have a Cultural Center in this district in the future.
Gorgona put forward, among other projections, MiCultura's support to turn San Miguelito into a "Creative District," strengthening the Orquestas Network program, promoting best use for Colmenal Reading Centres in the District and achieving MiCultura's participation with dance concerts or ballet performances on the occasion of the District's anniversary of July 31.
The Minister González Villarrué was accompanied by Secretary General José Ismael Herrera and national director of Las Artes, Isabel Pérez de Burgos, while she was accompanied by Ilsa Blanco, Social Management Director.
