The National Government through the Ministry of Culture gave benefits to residents of vulnerable areas of the province of Veraguas, in Gira de trabajo Communitaria (GTC), of the Plan Colmena program headed by the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, with the Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué.

The surrender was held at the sports court of San Francisco de la Montañas and was made up of musical instruments as violines for students of the Province's Network of Orchestra and Youth Cores, and they are recognized for their efforts to their continuous practice in the program.

They also benefited five outstanding students from the MiCultura School of Fine Arts of the province with drawing and painting materials.

Another of the benefits given by the incumbent of Culture was the artisan documentation for 15 artisan from Santa Fé de Veraguas, where Mirta Lara, Rubén Colla and Yessica Estrada were recognized as "master artisan," for their extensive experience and dedicated to production and teaching of artisan technologies that come from generation to generation.

"It's a great and very good help for the government to care about every child to give us an instrument, giving us an opportunity to be a part of this musical experience, which for me is very beautiful," said Mariangel Adames, 12, who plays violin and belongs to the orchestral module of Veraguas.
