MiCultura and Mupa realize "Inventory of Afro-Panamanian cuisine"

Panama was first selected through the Ministry of Culture among several countries of Central America to participate in the project "Support for the development of the film and audiovisual industry in Central America (ADFCAAC)" sponsored by the National Audiovisual Institute (INA) and the French Center for Cinema and Animated Image.

The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué, received a note from the French embassy explaining that this is a biennial initiative financed by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with three pillars that are governance and regulation and that they are Audiovisual Heritage Conservation and Creation, Production and Dissemination.

The fact that Panama goes with France through the National Center for Cinema and Animated Image (CNC) and the National Audiovisual Institute (INA) is an historic fact for the country, as this is the first time that these two organizations have been giving a strategic look at Central America as a new market to be explored.

The aims of this project are, inter alia, to contribute to the consolidation of a regional core of professionals with regard to production and production of films and audiovisual products and to the conservation of heritage and to create national policy contexts that will promote their development and to provide beneficiaries with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary for the structuring and development of the film and audiovisual sector in their countries of origin.

That type of project aims to place Panama on the international market by strengthening and promoting production and production throughout the network and by promoting the development of film projects in both production and after production, assembly and audiovisual technologies.
